Donja Zelina 1995. Already done foundation for small weekend house, on hardly sloped terrain surrounded with green, and distant view on Zagreb outline, was an initiation for the project. Touch of vernacular, unfortunately, Adriatic vernacular was demanded. I wanted to convert it on this area vernacular, in particular with wooden boards which was supposed to be both over the roof and walls. Wooden trellises are put over the garden terrace attached to the house. But, the client didn't wanted to change his Mediterranean affiliation.
