assistance - Peter Blake
1976.

It was very small, but to me dear support to Peter Blake in collecting information and photo materials for his famous book "Form Follows Fiasco".
I had made some contacts with ArchitecturePLUS in 1973. during my New York days, and therefore I was his host to Peter Blake during his visit to Zagreb in September 1974. He saw the city centre, neighbourhoods in New Zagreb, the kindergarden in Samobor designed by arch.Crnković, visited Dalibor Parač painting exhibition in Forum Galery, and got a quite many informations about our city. (He paid an attention to one warehouse on the way to the Pleso airport in phase of building up - later I sent him photo of it, but do not know, if he ever used it in some presentation). Although Peter Blake did not visited Split, he was informed about a new urbanism in Split-3-street renewal, and he hailed that new/old urban pattern.
Photos used in book was made by photographers Daniela Lušin, Milan Pavić and Šime Radovčić, and those photos fits to the Blake’s critique and point. Unfortunately, I could not get a photo from Split-3 streets crowded with people, what Peter Blake wanted, so those sent with empty street were omitted.
