assistance - Zavod 1970-1976. Zavod za arhitekturu /Institute for Architecture/ is a part of Architectural Faculty in which design professional and research activity for faculty members is run. As a student, I worked for prof.Šegvić and his younger partner arch.Radimir on competition project the Perna Hotel Complex. Project was awarded with 1st prize, had two kinds of architecture, modern and neo-vernacular part which later was carried on further elaboration toward working drawings and realization. After my graduation (June 22, 1970) and summer holidays, I started working at Zavod (Institute of Architectural Faculty) on the Perna project. In period IX,1970-VI,1976 (minus year in USA and 10 months in Finland) I worked on different architect Radimir's projects, -Radimir: High School Čazma, 1971. (adaptation, renewal), -Radimir: High School Koprivnica, 1971. (competition project), -Radimir: Elementary School + Kindergarten, Orebić, 1973. (presentation & main project), -Radimir: Industrial /factory Hall Radež, 1974. (presentation & main project), and once more for joint Šegvić & Radimir project for Sport Center Badija. Once, very shortly, for couple weeks, I helped prof.Begović (Tkalčićeva) and prof.Vodička (Health Center). Special memory is on small participation on the Vojin Bakić's Memorial Petrova Gora. Well known Croatian sculptor had a specific way of inventing and generating form, with cut and corrugated metal sheet as an envelope for small model that was going to be enlarged in 30 high construction.
