Lukavec 2002. The client needed weekend house that in the future will be their permanent residence for the family of four. He was animated by my White House - Pantovčak project and liked modern architecture expression. First solution, an elevated volume over the garden terrace was instantly accepted. Unfortunately, location was couple hundred meters off the Zagreb regulation territory where this proposal would be acceptable - over there in Velika Gorica pitched roof was obligatory. So project was changed in simple elongated pitched roof volume. In a way to bring some elegance and lightness of volume, roof is both side made as stretched. (When building of house started, the regulations changed in the way that first proposal might be possible!)
