Savski Marof
1973, 1974.
The first independent house project was done after my
arrival from the USA. It was designed under big influence of
Frank Lloyd Wright and Paul Rudolph. The clients liked project
but denied flat roofs. Instead of strive for the compromise,
with both despair and arrogance (a bit ironic, too) a complete
new Venturi-alike project was offered. But eventually, neither
FLW nor Venturi won.
Client, civil engineer, with help of schoen-wohnen magazine made house
on his own. |
